Once we have received your complete content submission via the form, the typical turnaround time is 1-2 working days for Tier 1; and 3-5 working days for Tiers 2 and 3 (depending on complexity).

Can I make changes after the site is live?

For Tier 1, content is delivered "as is". For Tiers 2 and 3, we offer maintenance services via our Annual Care Package or Peace of Mind Plan subscription, which includes dedicated time for updates, changes and technical support.

What is the 12-month free trial for The Essential Tribute?

This is our single-page tribute offered completely free for the first 12-months. It gives you a simple, beautiful page to share immediately. After 12 months, you can choose to continue hosting for a small fee, upgrade or cancel.

What happens when the Tier 1 free trial ends?

Approximately 30 days before the 12-month trial ends, you will be notified and given three options: 1. Continue Hosting (Legacy Basic Hosting subscription); 2. Upgrade to Tier 2 or 3; or Cancel and Delete the site.

What is the difference between Tier 2 and Tier 3 ownership?

In Tier 2, we host the website on our account and manage the hosting subscription. In Tier 3, you own the site outright, which requires you to purchase and manage your own Wix Premium Plan and custom domain.

What if I want to move my Tier 2 site to my own account?

Accepted Answer

Since Tier 2 is hosted on our infrastructure, you can request a full ownership transfer. This requires a Website Migration/Release Fee (a one-time charge) to cover the technical process of transferring the site to your own newly purchased Wix account and premium plan.

How do I submit photos and text?

After ordering, you will receive a link to our secure Content Intake Form. Please submit all photos, obituary text, links and specific instructions through this form to start the design process.

Who owns the photos and content I submit?

Accepted Answer

You (the client) retain full ownership of all the content, photos and text you submit. We retain ownership of the underlying website design and template structure.

Can people leave messages or tributes?

Yes. Visitors can leave condolences, share memories or light a digital candle if you choose that feature.

Can I include funeral service details and directions?

Yes you can! Depending on the package you choose, you can include the date, time, location, livestream links and maps for easy navigation.

What are Wix charges?

Wix is the hosting platform we use. If you purchase the Tier 3: The Digital Legacy package, you must pay Wix directly for your Premium Plan and Custom Domain renewal fees. These charges are separate from our one-time design fee.
