Arthur ‘Artie’ Sterling passed away peacefully on Valentine’s Day, 2024, at the age of 85.
Born in Sheffield, Arthur was a master carpenter who believed in building things to last. From the hand-carved dining table his family still gathers around to the local community centre he helped restore, his craftsmanship is woven into the fabric of his town.
A man of few words but immense presence, Arthur taught his children the value of integrity and hard work.
He is survived by his three children and seven grandchildren, who carry forward his love for the outdoors and his steadfast spirit.
